Both start as printed vinyl; the difference is how deep the cutter goes.
Die cut — the blade cuts all the way through the vinyl and its backing, following the outline of your design. You get an individual sticker in its own shape, ready to peel and stick.
Kiss cut — the blade cuts through the vinyl only, leaving the backing sheet intact around it. The sticker sits on a larger backing, which makes it easy to peel and neat to hand out or supply in sheets. See our decals on sheet.
